KYR Single-phase Solid-state AC Voltage Regulator Module
KYR series solid-state AC voltage regulator module is a floor-insulated power semiconductor control element encapsulated by two one-way thyristors, resistance-capacitance and diode phase-shifting circuits and over-voltage absorption circuits in the form of modules. It is an economical voltage regulator specially designed for single-phase resistance. Mainly used in industrial equipment temperature control, incandescent lamp dimming, conveyor belt speed control, small AC series motor speed regulation and other automatic power regulation occasions. It has stepless regulation, small size, light weight, high reliability, long life and easy to use. Only one potentiometer is needed in the application, which can realize the power regulation function of pure resistive load AC output, and can replace the heavy voltage regulating transformer in many aspects.

Matters needing attention
1. The output voltage is controlled silicon phase modulation waveform, which will generate radio frequency interference (if there is a series of inductors in the load circuit, it can be weakened).
2. The input control terminal is not isolated from the output load terminal, so special attention should be paid to it in use.
3. Voltage regulator is not suitable for inductive load (except small series motor) and capacitive load rectifier circuit.
4. When the load current is higher than 5A, the radiator must be used or installed on the metal base plate with the corresponding heat dissipation effect, and the thermal conductive silicone grease must be coated between the heat dissipation base plate of the solid-state voltage regulator and the installation surface.
5. When using inductive load, high transient voltage and surge current are applied to the output terminal, which may lead to misleading or damage of the solid-state voltage regulator. It is usually necessary to connect voltage control devices with specific clamping voltage at the output terminal, such as bi-directional voltage regulator diode or varistor. Varistors are recommended to be 1.6-1.9 times the rated voltage.
