Instructions for the Use of KY-ZB1 Zero-Crossing Cycle Trigger

  

I. overview

  KY-ZB1 cycle trigger is the most widely used SSR signal processing controller in industrial electric heating system. There are two control modes: periodic zero-crossing (PWM duty cycle control) and cyclic zero-crossing (CYC variable cycle control). The trigger adopts phase-locked loop synchronous circuit and automatically distinguishes phase. It can be used as single-phase power regulation, two-phase single-control zero-crossing trigger control. Its superior zero-crossing control makes the on-off of load current uniformly distributed according to sinusoidal wave. It improves the accuracy of regulation and utilization efficiency of power supply, avoids the phenomenon of needle punching, and has obvious power saving effect. It is mainly used in resistive load, temperature control unit and various industrial furnaces.

  

Ⅱ. Performance characteristics

  ○ It can be used in power supply of 220 V power supply frequency 50/60 Hz power grid.

  ○ It can directly interface with the output signals of various control instruments (temperature controllers) and microcomputers at home and abroad.

  ○ Suitable for resistive load, high control precision and obvious power saving effect.

  ○ It has superior zero-crossing output control of cycle wave and avoids the phenomena of needle punching.

  ○ Restrict output function (range 0-100%).

  ○ Two output control modes (PWM duty cycle output and CYC cycle output control).

  ○ Slow start-up in 0.15 seconds is used to reduce the average power of cold start-up.

  Input signal: 4-20mA DC 0-5V DC 0-10V PWM input 10K potentiometer (manual adjustment)

  Power usage: AC1 and AC2 are connected to 220VAC. Power consumption 3W.

  Load test: SCR can not work properly without load or current less than 0.5A when testing trigger. So the load current should be greater than 0.5A.

  

IV. Working methods

  1. Selection of PWM and CYC: Selection of control output type through internal PC jumper.

  2. Limitation of output power: Limit output by adjusting internal adjustable potentiometer VR (range 0-100%).

  3. Load wiring mode: single-phase control anti-parallel, two-phase control pure resistance load.

  4. Proportional period of PWM input: pulse width modulation (duty cycle) pulse, fixed for 2 seconds, maximum input current allowed 20 mA.
